Can a negative Google review be removed?
Yes – under certain conditions. If a review breaches Google's policies or applicable law, it can be reported to Google and removed. What matters is the specific content and its legal assessment: not every negative opinion is unlawful. Google makes the final decision.
Which reviews we handle
Not every negative review is unlawful. These case types tend to have the best chance of removal.
No customer contact
Reviews by people who were demonstrably never customers or had no business contact.

Negative reviews arising from an ended employment or business relationship.
Learn moreThree steps to removal
The final decision on removal is made by Google or, in disputed cases, by a court – not by Bewertungskanzlei.
Free assessment
Send us the review. Within 24 hours you get an assessment of whether a complaint has a realistic chance of success – free and without obligation.
Commission & complaint
You commission us bindingly via our client portal. We file the complaint through Google's official procedures; where a legal assessment is needed, an independent partner lawyer takes over. We never contact the author.
Decision & billing
Google reviews and decides – often within 5–10 working days. We only charge €89 (net) if the review is removed. You can follow the status in the client portal.
How a complaint to Google works
Google offers two official routes to have a review checked. Which one fits depends on whether the review breaches Google's own policies or the law – sometimes both.
Policy violation
Report as an inappropriate review, e.g. fake reviews, conflicts of interest (such as competitors) or offensive content. Google checks against its user-generated content policies; an appeal is possible after a rejection.
Legal violation
Legal complaint via Google's form for removing content for legal reasons, e.g. false statements of fact or violations of personality rights. This requires legal reasoning – via independent partner lawyers where needed.
How long does it take?
- Initial assessment
- within 24 hours
- Filing the complaint
- after commissioning via the client portal
- Google's decision
- often 5–10 working days

More on durationSuccess-based and transparent
For the successful removal of a Google review we charge €89 (net) per review. No upfront costs: an invoice is issued only after successful removal – payable within 14 days. If the review stays online, you pay nothing. Our service is aimed at businesses, freelancers and practices.
Legal review via independent partner lawyers
Bewertungskanzlei is a specialist portal and service provider – not a traditional law firm. Where an individual legal assessment or legal action is required, the matter is handled by independent, admitted lawyers from our partner network. They are organisationally and professionally independent.
